Un año más, se han entregado los Globos de Oro, tanto en el ámbito cinemátografico como en el televisivo, y lo cierto es que nos han dejado alguna que otra sorpresa. Hay que destacar la victoria de «The Revenant» (El Renacido), que se ha llevado tres premios; o «The Martian«, ganadora de otros dos. En cuanto a televisión, Mr Robot ha conseguido llevarse dos premios, los mismos que Mozart in the Jungle, una de las sorpresas de la noche.
